This section explains adjustment items required after the BKP-5090 is installed in the camera. Adjust-
ment procedure differs depending on the camera in which the BKP-5090 is installed, BVP-500/500P or
BVP-550/550P.
Adjustments are performed by using the setup menu. For the setup menu operation, refer to Section 3 (for
BVP-550/550P) or Section 4 (for BVP-500/500P).
When adjusting on the BVP-500/500P, the master setup unit MSU-700 is needed.
2-1. Preparation
2-1-1. Clearing Files
1. Displaying the setup menu
[BVP-550/550P]
Set the DISP switch to MENU.
[BVP-500/500P]
Set the DISPLAY switch to MENU.
2. Clearing the RAM data
(1) Set the switches S1-1 to S1-4 on the AT-126 board as follows:

(2) [BVP-550/550P]
Power on the unit while pressing the CANCEL button.
[BVP-500/500P]
Power on the unit while pushing down the MENU SELECT button to CANCEL.
(3) Power off the unit three seconds after powering on.
3. Loading data from the ROM
(1) Set the switches S1-1 to S1-4 on the AT-126 board as follows:

(2) [BVP-550/550P]
Power on the unit while pressing the CANCEL button.
[BVP-500/500P]
Power on the unit while pushing down the MENU SELECT button to CANCEL.
(3) Until the message "Trimming File NG" is displayed on the viewfinder screen;
[BVP-550/550P]
Continue to press the CANCEL button.
[BVP-500/500P]
Push down the MENU SELECT button to CANCEL several times.
(4) Power off the unit.
