Recovery process

The recovery process should be started if:
R
The Windows operating system does not start.
R
The default windows settings should be set up
again.
!
All the data and applications on the hard disk are
deleted during the recovery process!
!
Make sure the voltage supply must not be interrup-
ted during the recovery process.
1. Connect the DCU 220 to the power supply unit.
2. Switch on the DCU 220.
3. If the following screen appears during the system
start, simultaneously hold down the keys <Ctrl> +
<Alt> + <F2> for four seconds.

If DCU 220 does not open the recovery menu,
DCU 220 must be shut down with the <Shift
pressed and the recovery process must be restarted.
4. To start the recovery, select <Recovery> in the
screen which appears.

The progress bar shows the percentage of com-
pleted recovery. During the recovery process, the
progress bar reaches the 100 % multiple times. After
the process is finished, the system turns off.

5. Switch on the DCU 220.
 The windows Setup Wizard starts.
6. Follow the instructions on the screen.

When the system restarts, the installation screen ap-
pears. The installation program identifies the system
hardware and installs the drivers.

After completion, the system restarts and the Win-
dows desktop appears.
