14.1.5 2D mode quick scan
The quick scan function automatically adjusts the image quality. This function is
available only when the 2D mode image is displayed in real time. Note that automatic
update (Auto update) and exit (Quit) cannot be executed for quick scan in the following
cases.
In M mode or MDF-only mode

Automatic adjustment of gain adjustment parameters
When
automatically adjusted.
STC (gain in the depth direction)
2D gain (overall gain)
Lateral gain (gain in the scanning direction)
The change in the 2D gain is temporarily stored as an offset. Press
add this offset. When quick scan is exited, this offset is reset.
Automatic updating of image quality set values
If either of the following operations is performed during quick scan
image quality set values are automatically updated.
Releasing freeze status
Changing depth
Changing parameters of either of the following switches
Note that it is possible to enable/disable (turn ON/OFF) the automatic update
function from the [Preset] menu (refer to the operation manual Application volume,
subsection 22.2.1, for details). The automatic update function is OFF by default.
