RATED ENGINE SPEED/BREATHER HOSE

3. Measure:
9 Turn off the economy control switch.
9 Operate the engine (with no load).
9 Measure the engine speed.
Rated engine speed:
4,500 r/min
Specified engine speed → OK
Out of specification → Refer to "TROU-
BLESHOOTING" in CHAPTER 6.
4. Install:
9 Rear cover 2
9 Fuel tank cap
9 Side cover left/right
9 Rear cover 1
Refer to "COVERS AND FUEL TANK".
BREATHER HOSE
1. Remove:
9 Rear cover 1
Refer to "COVERS AND FUEL TANK".
2. Inspect:
9 Breather hose 1
Cracks/damage → Replace.
Poor connection → Correct.
3. Install:
9 Rear cover 1
Refer to "COVERS AND FUEL TANK".
