HEATER CONTROL LEVER ASSEMBLY
REMOVAL
1) Disconnect negative (–) cable at battery.
2) If equipped with air bag, disable air bag system. Refer to "Disab-
ling Air Bag System" in SECTION 9J.
3) Remove control lever knobs and center garnish mounting
screw.
4) Remove center garnish with mode control switch.
5) Disconnect control cables from blower fan motor unit and heat-
er unit.
6) Remove control lever assembly.
2. Control cable
INSPECTION OF BLOWER FAN MOTOR SWITCH
Check switch for each terminal-to-terminal continuity. If there is no
continuity, replace heater control lever assembly.
