Using the web recording function
1. Follow steps 1-4 described in "Login the web service".
2. Select the [Call Manager] tab.
3. Place a call. The far end camera video is displayed.
4. Click the [CAM Record] button on the Call Manager tab. The initial save folder is "C:\lgvcs\recording".
If you want to change the folder, select the [Setup] > [Administrator] > [Call] > [General] and set the new folder before you start to record
it. (Target folder is restricted to Local Hard Disk Drive.)
CAUTION
•
LG Electronics is not held responsible for recording failure caused by web recording function.
•
The system may have a problem as VCS or network condition. So you should use the safe recording server for the important conference
session. If you purchase the safe recording server, please contact where you purchased.
•
If call is added or disconnected while recording, recording is halted temporarily and will be restarted with new recording file.
•

Minimal H/W Requirement to use the web recording function Intel Core 2 Duo CPU P8800 2.66GHz 1.57GHz 3.00GM RAM. The Web
service spec recommends Windows XP(Internet Explorer 6.0 and 8.0) and Windows 7(Internet Explorer 8.0).

Restart like as below when the recording conflicts occurred.
1. It may cause memory shortage for recording. Reboot the PC.
2. Change the configuration of the control panel firewall in Windows 7 case. Select VLC media player option on the [Control Panel >
Windows Firewall > Allow a program or feature through Windows Firewall > Allowed programs and features(A):] and then check the
check box of Domain, Home/Work (Private) and Public option.

Video Frame may be dropped partially according to PC performance when you conduct Web recording.
