Focus Mode

The focus mode (Automatic vs. Manual) determines whether focus for the selected
camera is controlled by the camera or by the operator:
Focus Mode
Description
Automatic
Specifies that focus is automatically controlled by the camera. The
focus wheel and the backup focus control on the touch screen are
disabled whenever the camera is selected.
Manual
Specifies that focus is manually controlled by the operator. The focus
wheel and the backup focus control on the touch screen are enabled
whenever the camera is selected.

Select the Manual button under Focus (Figure 31) to specify the manual
mode, or select the Auto button under Focus to specify the automatic mode.
The selected mode is highlighted and saved for that camera.

Image Stabilizer

The image stabilizer mode (On vs. Off) determines whether the image stabilizer is
used when a camera is selected.

Select the On button under Stabilizer (Figure 31) to turn the image stabilizer
on, or select the Off button under Stabilizer to turn the image stabilizer off.
The selected mode is highlighted and saved for that camera.
