b. Paper exit Feeding
(1) Trim Mode
When the press plate is released after cutting by the work of the press motor (M105), the
feeding motor (M101) goes ON once again to move the trimmed booklet to the stacker
assembly; the booklet will be held upright in the assembly. When delivery sensor
(PS108) mounted to the entrance to the holder assembly detects the trailing edge
(trimmed side) of the booklet and goes OFF, the feeding motor also goes OFF to stop
feeding the booklet; the booklet will remain still in standby.
(2) Through Mode
The feeding motor (M101) remains ON continuously until the booklet reaches the
stacker assembly (from the entrance).
The feeding motor goes OFF at the same timing as in trim mode.
2. Signals
a. Input Signals
(1) PS102_SIG (PS102 → trimmer driver PCB → trimmer DC controller PCB);
it is a feeding detection signal for booklet in the press assembly.
L: booklet present
H: booklet absent
(2) PS108_SIG (PS108 → trimmer driver PCB → trimmer DC controller PCB);
it is a delivery detection signal for booklets at the entrance to the holder assembly.
L: booklet present
H: booklet absent
(3) M101_PLL (M101 → trimmer driver PCB → trimmer DC controller PCB);
it is a rotation monitor signal.
L: still or locked
H: in rotation at specific speed
(4) M105_CONT (trimmer DC controller PCB → trimmer driver PCB → M105);
it is an ON/OFF control signal for M105.
L: M105 ON
H: M105 OFF
b. Output Signals
(1) M101_CONT (trimmer DC controller PCB → trimmer driver PCB → M101); it is an
ON/OFF control signal for M101.
L: M101 ON
H: M101 OFF
(2) M101_CLK (trimmer DC controller PCB → trimmer driver PCB → M101); it is a refer-
ence clock signal for PLL control of M101.
(3) M101_F/R (trimmer DC controller PCB → trimmer driver PCB → M101); it is a signal
used to change the direction of rotation of M101.
L: M101 Reverse
