~
Do not use green (unroasted) coffee beans or mixtures of coffee
beans which contain green coffee beans. Green coffee beans are
very hard and still contain a certain amount of residual moisture.
These can damage the coffee machine grinder as soon as grinding
begins.
~
Do not use coffee beans which have been treated with caramel,
sugar or other substances. Sugar will damage the coffee machine.
~
Only add ground coffee or cleaning tablets to the ground coffee
chute.
~
Do not use any caramelised ready ground coffee. The sugar in
the coffee will stick to and block the brew unit of the coffee machine.
The cleaning tablets for degreasing the brew unit will not remove
this type of deposit.
~
Do not use milk with additives. Sugar additives will adhere to the
milk pipework and damage the machine.
~
If using cow's milk, only use pasteurised milk to prevent a
build-up of bacteria in the appliance.
~
Do not place any alcohol mixtures which are alight underneath
the central spout. The flames could ignite plastic components and
cause them to melt.
~
Never swing from or hang anything on the appliance front when it
is open as this could damage the machine.
~
The machine must not be used for cleaning objects.
~
The seal on the central spout connector is lubricated with silicone
grease. Try to avoid getting this grease on your clothing when
removing and inserting containers or other components.
