D-Link DNS-346 USER'S MANUAL
This section will display a list of all iSCSI targets.
Target List:
This is a list of all iSCSI targets and their storage capacity size.
The Users/Groups menu is used to create and manage user and group accounts. These are used for
user access and read/write privileges for specified folders on the network drive (using the Network
Access menu), or to setup FTP access and privileges. When the DNS-346 is connected to a
Workgroup up to 64 users and 10 groups can be created. When the DNS-346 is connected to an
Active Directory a combined total of 500 users and groups can be displayed. By default all users have
read and write access to all folders but access rules can be created in the Network Access menu.
User and Group Creation:
Click the Users or Groups radio button to enter user or group
information in the section below.
Create a User:
The section appears when clicking the Users radio button.
To create a new user, enter a name in User Name, and enter a
password (between 5 and 8 digits) in Password and Confirm
Password. Select one or more group names in the Groups field
and click ==> to add the group(s) into the Add Groups field. Click
the Add a User button to save the settings and see the user in the
User List section.
