Changing TV and VCR Set-
tings
The settings in this menu are not usually changed once the digital receiver is installed correctly.
If necessary, changes can be made by following the instructions below.
Press the MENU button, select Option 4 (Viewing
Preferences), and then select Option 2 (TV and
Video Settings) to display the following menu.

Following is an explanation of each option. You can return to nor-
mal TV viewing at any time by pressing the EXIT button.
Use the 5 (UP) and
(RIGHT) buttons to change the settings.
1) TV screen
This option is used to tell the digital receiver whether the TV is 4:3 or 16:9 (wide screen). If 16:9 is
selected, the digital receiver will automatically display all wide screen programmes in the cor-
rect format. If 4:3 is selected, sub-options are displayed prompting you how to wide screen
programmes on a regular 4:3 TV.
