LOCATING AND STORING CHANNELS
With the digital receiver properly connected you can now begin locating the new channels. The
process is also described in the information included in the ONdigital envelope that came with the
digital receiver.
NOTE:
At the end of this process, you should call ONdigital customer services on 0870-600-9696 to
activate your smartcard.
Following both the instructions on page 11 in the
CONNECTIONS section of this manual or the in-
structions contained in the ONdigital envelope will
cause either the "Welcome" screen or "Main Menu"
screen to be displayed on the TV.
If the Main Menu is already displayed on the screen, proceed to
Step 3.

IMPORTANT:
•
If neither of the above-mentioned screens are displayed even
though the SCART lead was used to make the connection,
try pressing the remote controller TV/DTV button. Or try
pressing the TV remote controller button that selects the TV's
AV or External (SCART) socket.

Alternatively check the channel that was selected for the de-
fault UHF output. The TV might need to be retuned to this
channel. Refer to pages 11 to 14 in the CONNECTIONS sec-
tion of this manual.
