to determine the maximum amount of memory supported by
your NOS.

Processors

The upgrade kit comes with two processors and four terminators. You can
purchase additional processors for a total of six processors
CAUTION
You cannot move processors from the LH 3000/3000r to the
LH 6000/6000r.
When the HP NetServer LH 6000/6000r is configured with
multiple processors, all the processors must have the same
frequency, stepping, and cache size. For example, do not mix
550-MHz processors that have different-sized caches.

Returning LH 3000 Components to HP

During the upgrade process, some NetServer LH 3000/3000r components are
removed and replaced by LH 6000/6000r components. You can return all removed
to parts to Hewlett-Packard for recycling.

LH 3000/3000r to the HP NetServer LH 6000/6000r. This guide includes the
