NOTE
If you wish to change your keyboard type after you have
booted your Red Hat Linux system, you may use the
/usr/sbin/kbdconfig command.
4. At "Mouse Configuration", select Generic 2-Button Mouse (PS/2). Select
Next.
5. At the Welcome message, press Next to continue.
6. At "Installation Type", select Server. Select Next.
7. At "Automatic Partitioning", select Manually Partition. Select Next.
8. At "Partition Disks", select Done. Press Enter.
9. Initialize the partition table if it is shown to be corrupted.
10. At "Current Disk Partitions", select Showing Device, Requested, Actual
Edit. Press Enter.
11. At "Mount Point", select: /
Select Next.
NOTE
You must install Red Hat Linux to one or more partitions
having a partition type of "Linux native''. Red Hat Linux also
requires a swap partition, which has a partition type of ''Linux
swap''. A swap partition is used to support virtual memory.
You will now have to create a swap partition.
12. At "Choose to Format", click to select Next.
13. At "Network Configuration":
Boot Protocol: Static IP address
Type your IP address and subnet
If you choose DHCP, you do not need to type an IP address.
Host name: (name of server).
Select Next.
14. At "Time Zone Selection", select your time zone. Select Next.
15. At "Account Configuration":
