Dubbingto VCR/DVD devices
You can copy pictures played back on your camcorder to other recording devices, such as VCRs
or DVD recorders.
After dubbing them to an HDD (hard disc drive) vide() recorder, you can ei!joy images stored
on the hard disk of tile recorder.
Connect your camcorder to the wall outlet using tile supplied AC Adaptor for this operation
(p.21 ). Refer also to the instruction manuals supplied with tile devices to be connected.

When connecting
to another devic_ via tile S
VIDEO jack, by using _tnA/V connecting cable
with an S VIDEO cable/optional),
higher
quality pictures can be produced than with an
A/V connecting cable. Connect tile while and
red plug (lelt/rigla
audio) and the S VIDEO
plug/S VIDEO channel) of the A/V connecting
cable with an S VIDEO cable/oplional).
The
yellow plug connection is not necessary. S
VIDEO connection
only will not output audio.

etc.) on the screen of tile monitor device

• To record the dalc/lime and camera settings dala,
display thmn on the screen (p.78).
• When you arm connecting
your calncorder to a
monaural dcvicc, connect the yellow plug of the
A/V connecting cable to the video input .jack, and
the red (righl channel) or lhe white (lel* channel)
plug to the audio input jack on tile VCR or tile TV.
