CD DUBBING
— By entering the playing time of a cassette with
EDIT or WARP, you let the unit determine how
many and which tracks of a CD will fit on each
side of the cassette. In this way the recording of
only part of a track is prevented.
A maximum of
30 tracks can be recorded in this manner.
— With EDIT the tracks are recorded in the order in
which they are on the CD. With WARP the se-
quence is sometimes changed in order to use
the available playing time on the first side optt-
mally. In this way the time needed for the transt-
tion from one to the other side is kept as short
as possible.
— After you have pressed EDIT or WARP, using
CHAIN
and SPACE you can choose
between
CHAIN EDIT and AUTO SPACE. CHAIN EDIT re-
duces longer pauses between the tracks to the
minimum
time needed. AUTO
SPACE
inserts
pauses of longer than 4 seconds. You may omit
this step and dub the CD as it was recorded.
— If you make a mistake when selecting the possi-
