Getting started
The configuration of the IP Horn loudspeaker and the IP Amplifier module is done via WEB
based GUI.
Before starting the configuration and operation of the IP Horn loudspeaker and the IP
Amplifier module, it is advised to do the following:

Download and update firmware
You perform firmware updates via the Firmware Upload Tool (FWUT) version 9.0 or above
You can get the latest firmware and required Firmware Upload Tool (FWUT) from the product
page on www.boschsecurity.com.

The Firmware Upload Toll is available in 32-bit and 64-bit. Download the version 9.0 or latest
and install the software on your computer.
The firmware is available to you as a digitally signed installer. After that, the firmware file is
placed centrally and shows up in the FWUT.
To update the firmware of the device, do the following:

Do not disconnect the device while the update is running. If the update fails, disconnect the
device and connect it again. Repeat the update process.

Logon with the web browser, page 23
Open the OMNEO Firmware Upload Tool.
From the File menu, select Options.
Make sure the checkbox Use secure connection is unchecked.
Click the Change button.
Click OK, again.
On the tab Devices, select the device to update.
Click the Upload button.
From the list of firmware, select the firmware to download.
Click the Start button.
When the upload is complete, the State tab displays Finished and your device is ready to
use.
