your navigat ion device.

I f you have purchased a version of t he Son y Pe r son a l

N a viga t ion Syst e m t hat doesn't have any m aps on DVD, t hen

you can use t his t ool t o creat e a back- up copy of t he m ap on t he

navigat ion device.

1. Use Act iveSync

t o connect t he navigat ion device wit h your

com put er and insert t he DVD.

2. Then follow t he inst ruct ions on t he com put er screen.

Two hardware keys are locat ed at t he t op of t he device:

Swit ches t he device on and st andby.

D u r ing a na viga t ion :

repeat s t he last drive inst ruct ion. I t shows t he speed inform at ion

if t his has been hidden.

Ot h e r w ise :

The st andard m ap view opens and shows your current posit ion.

A soft ware keyboard appears on t he screen when t ext ent ries are

necessary. Choose t he charact er keyboard or t he m obile phone

keyboard.

You can use t he but t ons t o t oggle bet ween t he keyboards.
