Control Panel Lighting
The system provides two levels of lighting on the control panel: when the
ultrasound imaging system is in use, the control panel is back-lit, and when a
control or key is active, the lighting intensity of the active control or key is
increased.
Note: The lighting for the trackball control keys (NEXT, PRIORITY TOOL, UPDATE VIEW,
SELECT) stays constant.
Mode Controls
There are four mode controls: 2D, D (Doppler), C (Color), and M. Each mode
control allows you to activate the mode, adjust the gain setting for the
mode, and select additional mode features.
2D
The 2D control is a multi-function control.
Pressing the 2D control activates 2D-mode, deactivates all active modes
other than 2D-mode, and displays the Image task card on the image screen
with the 2D-mode Parameter menu.
Rotating the 2D control clockwise increases the 2D gain; rotating the control
counterclockwise decreases the gain. The gain value displays on the
2D-mode Parameter menu next to the 2D status icon.
Rotating the 2D secondary mode control (outer ring) selects general
2D-mode imaging, Tissue Harmonic Imaging, or Cadence Contrast Agent
Imaging.
The selection is displayed on the 2D-mode Parameter menu next to the
2D status icon:
GEN: General 2D-mode imaging
THI: Tissue Harmonic Imaging
CCAI: Cadence Contrast Agent Imaging
During fourSight 4D imaging, pressing the 2D control cancels acquisition and
displays the fourSight setup selections on the Imaging group box.
