3-1-1. Equipment Required
• Oscilloscope (Tektronix TDS360/200 MHz or equivalent)
• Vector Scope (Tektronix 1720 or equivalent for NTSC model)
• Vector Scope (Tektronix 1721 or equivalent for PAL model)
• Multiformat Signal Generator (Tektronix TSG130A with S-VIDEO OUT for NTSC model)
• Multiformat Signal Generator (Tektronix TSG131A with S-VIDEO OUT for PAL model)
• Monitor TV
• S-VIDEO signal cable
• BNC-BNC cable
• BNC-PIN cable
3-1-2. Preparations and Notes on Alignment
Making the S-VIDEO signal cable
Preparation
: S-S video cable about 5 meters in length (standard product)
Alligator Clips 4pcs
Making the cable : 1. Cut the cable in harf.
2. Cut the cable integument with a cutter.
3. Strip the cover of the shield wire with a nipper.
4. Check the Y/C core wire with a tester.
5. Connect alligator clips to each core wires.
