Restrict access to an IM
group
You can make an IM group closed
by creating a group members list.
Only the users on the list are
allowed to join the group. Select
the
IM groups
view, scroll to the
group, and select Options >
Group
>
Settings
members
>
Selected
To add a user to the list, select
Add
>
From IM contacts
user
ID.
To remove a user from the list,
scroll to the user, and select
Remove.
To clear the list and allow all IM
users to join the group again,
select
Remove
all.

Select Menu >
Connect.

In the connection manager, you
can identify the status of multiple
data connections, view details on
the amount of data sent and
received, and end unused
connections. You can view details
of data connections only. Voice
calls are not listed.
When you open the connection
manager, you can see the
following:

Group
only.

indicates a
Data

• The status of each connection.
• Amount of data uploaded and
downloaded for each
connection (packet data
connections only).
• The duration of each
connection (data call
connections only).
Note: The actual invoice
for calls and services from
your service provider may
vary, depending on
network features,
rounding off for billing,
taxes, and so forth.

View connection details

To view the details of a
connection, scroll to a connection,
and select Options > Details. The
following is displayed:
Name
— name of the Internet
access point (IAP) in use
Bearer
— type of data connection:
Data call
or
Packet data
Status
— current status of the
connection
Recvd.
— amount of data, in bytes,
received to the phone
call, and
data.
