To access an instant messaging
service you need to save the
settings for that service. You may
receive the settings from the
network operator or service
provider that offers the service in a
configuration message. You can
also enter the settings manually.

Connect to an instant
messaging server
Select Menu >
Connect.
1. To log in, select Options >
Login.
2. Enter your user ID and
password. For the user ID and
password, contact your service
provider.
To log out, select Options >
Logout.
