Connecting parallel inputs and
outputs
When using the parallel inputs and outputs of the board,
either the solder pads or the connector can be used. The
parallel inputs connectors provide 16 logical inputs
(U00 to U15), whereas the parallel output connectors
provide 16 logical outputs (D00 to D15). Except for U15
and D15, all of them can be used for the remote control
of lamps, spotlights, doors, etc. without needing
additional cabling. The function of the control inputs
and outputs depends on the selected mode and address
(see section 7.4).
All logical inputs and outputs form pairs. For example,
logical input U00 controls logical output D00. However,
this does not apply to U15 and D15. These do not form
a pair.
