Oil / UV dye bottles

To detach the UV contrast medium or fresh oil bottle,
pull the connector
(Fig. 10, Pos.
and pull down the bottle.

Do not apply excessive force while detaching or at-
taching the oil / UV dye bottles. Excessive force can
damage the load sensors.

There are two connectors for the fresh oil bottle,
one each for the PAG oil and the POE oil bottles.
Connect the correct oil bottle - POE or PAG - before
proceeding with the vehicle A/C service.

To detach the used oil bottle, pull the connector
(Fig. 11, Pos.
1)
slightly upwards and pull down the
bottle.

Observe the symbols on the service hatch to identify
the bottles. The following table lists the symbols and
their description.
Symbol

Fresh oil bottle
Used oil bottle
UV contrast medium bottle

Quick release couplers

The quick release couplers (Fig. 1, Pos. 5 and 7) are
connected to the service connections on the vehicle
A/C system to perform the service. When not in use,
the couplers can be connected to the docking couplers.
To detach the quick release couplers from the docking
couplers (Fig. 12, Pos. 1), grip the knurled portion of the
coupler
(Fig. 12, Pos.
2). Depress the coupler slightly
and pull back the knurled portion gently to release from
the docking coupler.

To attach the coupler to the docking coupler, place
the coupler on the docking coupler and pull back the
knurled portion of the coupler. Press gently.
