[Grounding]
The ideal ground of electronic devices is the dedicated ground separately provided from
the power system, and a single-point ground for two or more devices. The nv series
unified controller is designed to be noise tolerable in consideration of practical
applications and the controller itself has a sufficient noise resistivity. Even so, proper
grounding is important for the security and reliability of the controller.
Keep the following notes for grounding:
・Prevent the enclosure of electronic device from being a path for ground current
(especially high-frequency current).
・Make the ground potential of two or more electronic devices equivalent when
connecting them (a single-point ground is the best practice).
・Do not connect the electronic device to the power system ground (high-frequency
isolation is required).
・Do not connect the electronic device to an unstable ground (e.g. unstable impedance
area such as screwed and painted part, or area subject to vibration).
Important
Be sure to ground the controller. Operation without grounding may cause electric shock or
malfunction.
