Setting the motor protection for the
lifting device

Voltage is supplied to the electrical cabinet of the
lifting device via a cable from the roller set electrical
cabinet.
i
The motor circuit breaker (3-pole) for protecting the
motor of the hydraulic unit is located in the roller set
electrical cabinet.

The control circuit is protected by the wire fuses F
1 - F 3 in the roller set electrical cabinet.

Decommissioning

6.1

Temporary shutdown

For an extended period of nonuse:
Switch off the main switch and secure with a
padlock.
Cover the set of rollers with a roller cover plate.
Secure the brake tester or test lane to prevent
unauthorized use. Put up a warning sign.
6.2

Change of location

If the BSA 7xxx / 8xxx is passed on, all the
documentation included in the scope of delivery must
be handed over with it.
The BSA 7xxx / 8xxx must only be transported in the
original or equivalent packaging.
Comply with the instructions concerning initial
commissioning.
Unplug the electrical connection.
6.3

Disposal and scrapping

1. Disconnect the BSA 7xxx / 8xxx from the mains and
detach the power cord.
2. Dismantle the BSA 7xxx / 8xxx and sort out and
dispose of the different materials in accordance with
the applicable regulations.
BSA 7xxx / 8xxx, accessories and packaging
should be sorted for environmental-friendly
recycling.
Do not dispose BSA 7xxx / 8xxx into
household waste.
Only for EC countries:
The BSA 7xxx / 8xxx is subject to the
European directive 2012/19/EC (WEEE).
Dispose of used electrical and electronic
devices, including cables, accessories and
batteries, separately from household waste.
Make use of the local return and collection
systems for disposal.
Proper disposal of BSA 7xxx / 8xxx prevents
environmental pollution and possible health
hazards.
