Handling Instructions
Please read these instructions carefully before opening this product.
Introduction
This Exchangeable sheath line kit is the disposable sheath line components for the Sony
Exchangeable Fluidics Cell Sorter.
It is for research use only, not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
Refer to the Sony Exchangeable Fluidics Cell Sorter Operator's Guide for instructions about
installing/uninstalling and using the Exchangeable sheath line kit in the Sony Exchangeable
Fluidics Cell Sorter.
This product is gamma ray irradiated.
The product or packaging may appear slightly discolored (faint yellow), but this will not impact
performance.
Expiration date can be found on the packing box.
Unpacking
Check the following contents in the package (box).
Exchangeable sheath line kit (1 set)
A: Sample chamber air filter and probe adapter
B: Chip connector with waste line
C: Sheath line with spike

Safety Precautions
Take care when handling the Exchangeable sheath line kit. They are the high-precision
components, which can be damaged easily if handled carelessly.
Avoid the moisture and dust while using and storing this product.
Keep away from all sources of ignition. There is a risk of combustion.

Always wear protective equipment and clothing, such as gloves and goggles, when
working with samples that have the potential to cause infection or environmental pollution.
Always dispose of used product that come into contact with biological hazards in accordance
with local and federal laws, ordinances, and regulations.
Storage
Keep the chip away from sunlight.
The recommended range is 10 °C to 30 °C (50 °F to 86 °F).
