The following Port numbers are used by NK823x:
- TCP Port number 3001
- TCP Port number 3001...3004 in multiple host configurations
- TCP Ports 20 and 21 (for the FTP configuration and firmware download)
- TCP Port 22 (SSH Secure Shell)
- TCP Port 443 (HTTPS)
- TCP Port 502 (default for Modbus connectivity, configurable)
- TCP Port number 20500 (for the secure configuration and firmware download)
- TCP Port number 2404 (default for IEC 60870-5-104 connectivity, configurable)
- TCP Port 4000 for service messages
- UDP Port 53 (DNS Service, Traceroute)
- UDP Port 161 for SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol)
- UDP Port 47808 (hex BAC0) is default for BACnet connectivity, but is configur-
able
The network administrator must allow these Port numbers; otherwise our applica-
tion is prohibited in the network.
® For detailed information on secure configuration downloads and downloading
NK823x, see the NK8000 Release Notes (A6V10062453) and the NK8000 ICC
(A6V10062437).
Note: More TCP/IP ports may be needed for MM8000/MK8000.

Bandwidth measures
Normal operations: 0.1 Kbit/sec per NK82xx + 0.1 Kbit/sec per control unit
Peaks (firmware and configuration downloads): 64 Kbit/sec (file transfer, around 5
sec) per NK82xx
® For other applications such as MM8000 stations, video, etc., see the MM8000
Sales Guide (A6V10062427).
LON transceiver type: FTT-10 topology:
- Doubly terminated bus topology
- Free topology
