Setting handsfree calling: You can adjust handsfree calling to your office
and surroundings.
Headset present
Headset present: Switch this menu point to
– "Handset", if a headset is connected to the handset interface.
– to "AEI", if a headset is plugged into the AEI interface,
– to "No", if no headset is connected.
If a headset is present, a message appears in the idle display. You can
switch off a headset easily by selecting the message in the idle display.

Interchange calls
– Answer a second call before the first call.
Interchange users
During a conference call you can display either of your conference partners
to see the incurred charges or speak to one partner separately.
Press the "Refer-back" key to put the party not being displayed on hold.
K
Key beep (! p. 59)
Switch the keyboard beep on or off.
Keyboard
Starts the keyboard test. You can test all keys on the keyboard.
Press the key you wish to test. The key designation appears on the display
if the key is functioning properly.
The "Disconnect" key is functioning properly if it interrupts the test mode
display.
