3-1 Command List

The following commands have the compatibility to the commands of the former laser marker model LP-400/LP-V series.
• Even with the use of LP-400/V compatible command mode, there is a difference in communication processing time and
I/O operation timing between LP-400/LP-V series and LP-GS/LP-RC/LP-RF/LP-RV series. After sending the command,
always confirm the response data from the laser marker. Do not send the next command before receiving the response.
• In some commands the setting range of the parameter differs from the original commands of LP-400/LP-V series. Before
using the LP-400/V compatible command mode, confirm the setting parameter in each command.
• When install the LP-400/LP-V control program to LP-GS/LP-RC/LP-RF series, confirm the command format and data
transfer sequence to follow the rule described in "2-3 Communication Data Format" (P.31).
• To use the command related to the marking quality such as the laser power, confirming the actual marking quality and
adjust the settings from the original settings of LP-400/LP-V series.

MKM
Controls the reception permission for the settings by
communication commands.
LSR
Controls the laser pumping ON/OFF.
SHT
Controls the internal shutter opening/closing.
MRK
Inputs marking trigger (laser radiation startup signal).
DLY
Sets the delay time from trigger input to starting
trigger processing (lasing) operation.
GID
Controls radiation of red guide laser for marking
position confirmation.
STS
Reads out the laser marker status including marking
trigger ready status and error occurrence status.
MST
Enables automatic response of marking result (e.g.
normal end, and error occurrence, etc.) at the end of
marking.
FNO
Specifies the file number to change the file.
FNN
Specifies the file name to change the file.
FOR
Overwrites the current file onto the laser marker.
FRG
Saves the current file to the specified file number in
the laser marker.
FNM
Sets the file name of the number selected.
