Operation:
The cursor key, the plus and minus keys and the numeric key block with
star and hash keys, if the control unit has one, are used to input the call
numbers. Short or long pressing of the cursor key moves the input po-
sition one to the right or left, the plus and minus keys roll the input po-
sition from "0" to "9" via "G" and "–" and on the 12-key numeric block,
the star enters the hyphen and the hash key the "G".
As many input positions as can be freely programmed in the radio ap-
pear in the display. If you have selected a channel or a call key where
less free positions can be entered, the rest of the input positions in the
display must be filled up with hyphens from the left. "G" must be entered
as a group call character.
The call digits visible in the display must match the free number of posi-
tions of the appropriate call when transmitting otherwise an error tone
sounds when the call key is pressed and no call will be transmitted.

Short Dial Input

The "Short Dial Input" menu item is designed for calling numbers program-
med in the radio. Every short dialling digit is assigned a call number. These
are input with the cursor key, plus or minus key or with the numeric keys.
Attention! In the two-line display format, the top line does not indicate the
number belonging to the short dialling digit.

Short Dial Scrolling

Like "Short Dial Input" except scrolling only with the plus and minus keys in
programmed order up (+) and down (–).
