Step 2: In case of not finding any problem after having checked the items above, it is
likely that there is something wrong with the console cable or the terminal (e.g., the
HyperTerminal) parameters. Check the cable or the parameters.
II. Troubleshooting of "displaying illegible characters on the terminal"

Fault
After the Power-On Self-Test (POST) of the Eudemon200, the console terminal
displays illegible characters.

Troubleshooting
Verify whether the terminal (e.g., the HyperTerminal) parameter settings are as follows:
Baud: 9600
Data bits: 8
Stop bit: 1
Parity: None
Flow control: None
Terminal emulation: VT100
If the parameter settings do not match the above values, reconfigure them.
6.3 Troubleshooting of Application Software Upgrade
I. Upgrade boot device error

Start the Eudemon200, upgrade the VRP software with the TFTP approach, and the
system displays the following prompt:
