The EPLAN Add-In contains the following message types:
● Messages for Drive objects (Page 43)
● Errors (Page 43)
● Warnings (Page 45)
All messages are in alphabetical order in the respective list. The messages are described and
contain a remedy.
8.1
Drive objects
List of the possible drive objects for which feedback is available.
The drive objects are listed in alphabetical order according to name and are described.
Drive object name
Description
DEVICE_TYPE_IS_INVALID
The entered device type does not match the device type from
the catalog.
DRIVEOBJECT_COMPONENT_ALREADY_ASSIGNED
When the assigned drive object or component name has
been assigned to several devices of components.
DRIVEOBJECT_COMPONENT_NOT_IN_GLOBALDO_LIST
When the assigned drive object or component name has not
been defined in the global DO list.
DRIVEOBJECT_IS_UNASSIGNED
When a component of the device does not have an assigned
drive object and/or component name.
ERR_GLOBAL_DO_LIST_NOT_FOUND
A global DO list is missing.

Errors
List of the possible errors for which feedback is available.

Remedy
Check and correct the device type.
Alternatively, you can import the catalog and align the project.
Check and correct the assignments.
Check and correct the assignments.
Assign the drive object and component name to each other.
Create a global DO list in the project directory.
Or copy a DO list to the project directory.
