SITRANS LR 400 (Solids) – INSTRUCTION MANUAL
The application is to obtain a
3.0 m
level measurement and
corresponding 4 to 20 mA
output proportional to asphalt
levels in a Hot Mix Asphalt
(HMA) silo.
Lower Range value is 0 m, at
the bottom of the silo. Upper
Range value is 13 m
measured from the bottom of
the silo.
Use Auto False-Echo
Suppression when the level
in the silo is low but not
empty. First, when the level is
low, dip the silo to determine
the exact distance. Subtract
2 m from the measured
distance. Then, set Auto
False-Echo Suppression
Distance (4.2.3.9) to this
value.Then set Auto False-
Echo Suppression (P . 4.2.3.8)
to Record. SITRANS LR 400
will automatically revert to
Use for Auto False-Echo
Suppression after about
three seconds.
