Modular 2U SAS expansion unit ENC unit
The ENC unit is mounted in the expansion unit. It is the interface between
the expansion unit in which it is mounted and the controller in a base unit
or the ENC unit in another expansion unit. The ENC unit is shown in
Figure
4-28.

ON: An abnormal or stop
state.
ON: Operating normally.
ON: AC input is normal.
Function
The following blinking is fast
because ENC microprogram
detects CUDG error:
High-speed blinking
Twice: ENC hard error
(orange)
Three times: Microprogram
error in flash memory
Not blinking: Boot section
error of ENC microprogram,
RAM error or ENC hard
configuration error.
ON: A failure has occurred in
(red)
the ENC unit and it is
inoperable
ON: Power is supplied to the
(green)
unit
(green)
ON: The IN side is linked up
ON: The OUT side is linked up
