Security menu

The "Security" menu lets you block access to your device using passwords. The following
figure shows an example for the "Security" menu.

Disabled and Inactive
Enabled and Active
Enables Trusted Platform Module (TPM).
No Operation
Disable and Deactivate
Enable and Activate
Deletes the initialization of the TPM block.
The general password is set (Installed) or not set (Not Installed).
The user password is set (Installed) or not set (Not Installed).
BIOS Setup (SCU)

Trusted Platform Modul (TPM) is
disabled and inactive but can be enabled.
Trusted Platform Module is enabled and
active but can be disabled.
Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is not in
operation.
Trusted Platform Module is not available
(disabled). Option resets automatically to
"No Operation".
Trusted Platform Module is available and
enabled.
