Description
The SpO
cable is not connected to the

device.
A failure has occurred in the SPO
circuitry.
The level of ambient light is so high that
the sensor cannot obtain an SpO
or the sensor or cable is damaged.
The patient's pulse is absent or too weak
to be detected.
SpO
signal is too low to give an accurate

reading.
Excessive patient movement, electrical
interference, or optical interference is
present.
The SpO
transducer is broken.

Attach the SpO
XLT.
Remove the device from active use and

call for service.
Cover the sensor with an opaque
reading
material.

Check the sensor for damage; try
another sensor.
Check that the sensor is applied prop-
erly.
