NOTE If the radio login password is lost or forgotten, contact GE MDS for assistance. Proof of
authorized user is required for a new password, and the radio will revert to its default
settings.
It is recommended that users periodically export their configuration file so that it can be
loaded back into the radio if their old one requires replacement.
Encryption Phrase

Both the sending and receiving station must have the same phrase for communication to
occur. The phrase must have at least 8 characters (maximum of 38), and any printable
character may be used.
