Messages using SMS (GSM)

Faults and system reports sent as SMS are sent via GSM network.
• See Section 2.5.2, "Message receiver 1...4" for information on message
recipient settings.
• The transmission protocol depends on the language set on the web server and
can be preset as needed (see Section 2.5.2).
• The transmission protocol UCS-2 supports all character sets, GSM-7 only one
limited character set (see Section 6.1). Characters that cannot be transmitted
are converted during transmission to "¿" (upside down question mark).
If you cannot send a message the first time, "Current repetition interval" is set
automatically to 15 minutes and the message is resent after this time. If the
message cannot be sent upon the second attempt, the interval is set to 60 minutes.
If the message cannot be sent after the third attempt, the interval is set to 840
minutes (14 hours). The intervals of 15, 60, 840, 840, ... minutes are predefined.
Sending messages is limited as per the setting in "Message repetition".
For test purposes, set "Time to next message" to 0 to send the message
immediately.
You can define for each message recipient the number of messages that can be
sent ("Number of messages for sending").
