    Foreword Foreword Thank you for choosing the HUAWEI Ascend G6 smartphone. This guide introduces you to the features and functions of your new phone and safety precautions. If you enter incorrect passwords five consecutive times, the screen stops responding to further unlock attempts for 30 seconds. You will still be able to make emergency calls during this time.

    Calls Calls Smart dialing In addition to standard call procedures, smart dialing lets you quickly find contacts by entering parts of their names or numbers. On the home screen, touch Phone. Enter a phone number or the initials or first several letters of a contact name.

Connecting your phone to a computer When you connect your phone to a computer using a USB cable, your phone will display a notification prompting you to select a connection type.

The computer will identify your phone as a USB mass storage device. You can then transfer files between your phone and the computer.
