This section describes other feature operations that you
can perform.
Assigning an account code associates a call with a specific
account. Once a call is flagged with an account code, the
account code displays with the call record in various call
accounting reports.
Your telephone system supports both fixed and variable
account codes, which vary in length as follows:
Account code type

Variable
Account codes can be assigned to both incoming and
outgoing calls.
