    Your computer has an S-video TV-out connector that, together with the TV/digital audio adapter cable (available from Dell), enables you to connect the computer to a TV and/or stereo audio device. The TV/digital audio adapter cable provides connectors for an S-video cable, a composite video cable, and an S/PDIF digital audio cable.

    Shut down your computer and connect an external monitor to the computer. Turn on the computer and the monitor and adjust the monitor brightness and contrast controls.     A driver acts like a translator between the device and any other programs that use the device. Each device has its own set of specialized commands that only its driver recognizes. If you are replacing a memory module, remove the existing module: Use your fingertips to carefully spread apart the securing clips on each end of the memory module connector until the module pops up.

Ground yourself and install the new memory module: Align the notch in the module edge connector with the tab in the connector slot.
