Getting started

The Divar Archive Player allows you to view archived video recordings on a PC
that have been archived from the Control Center application. It also provides
you the opportunity to check the authenticity of the archived video.
System requirements
Operating platform:
A PC running Windows 98, Windows Millennium,
Windows NT 4.0 (SP4), Windows 2000 or Windows
XP.
For the Archive Player, the minimum PC requirements are:
Processor:
450 MHz Pentium II (or equivalent)
RAM memory:
64 MB*
Free hard disk space:
10 MB
Video system:
800x600 with 16-bit color.
* depends on operating system
Installation
When you archive a video, the Archive Player is automatically copied to the
same directory as the archive file. Separate installation of the Archive Player is
not necessary. If you copy your archive file to a CD or DVD afterwards, make
sure that you also copy the ArchivePlayer.exe file as well.
When you use an external CD/DVD writer, the software required to play a
video segment on a PC (the Archive Player) is copied to the disk when a local
archive is made. To ensure that this software is present in the Divar, use the CD-
ROM delivered with the external CD/DVD writer to load the latest version of
the Archive Player into the Divar.
