3.2.1

Setting the Jumper for a second receiver

If the application requires a second FA400 receiver (for example having one receiver on the north side of a large
warehouse and another receiver on the south side of the warehouse), which is typically used for better coverage, follow
the steps below to set up the second FA400 receiver with one D8125INV.
To correctly set the jumper on the FA400 receiver, follow the steps below:
1.
Remove the cover of the FA400 receiver.
2.
Locate the jumper switch located above the reset button.
3.
The FA400 Receiver is shipped
with the jumper set for 1 receiver.
4.
To set the FA400 Receiver to act as
a second receiver, position the
jumper to cover the middle and
right pin.
Note:
If two receivers are being used and the one receiver goes missing, a 'Receiver Missing' message will NOT be
reported since the other receiver is still being seen by the D8125INV, however, the points using it will go missing
after the programmed supervision time.

3.4

Labeling the Inovonics Transmitters

Prior to programming the Inovonics transmitters or D8125INV, it is recommended that you take the time now to apply
the point number labels from the Point Label Sheet to the individual transmitters.
