Restoring and Backing Up D-View

To restore and backup Topology data:
1. Select a topology.
2. Go to Application > Topo Export/Import to restore & backup topology
data.
3. For data in D-View:
a. D-View 6.0 Standard Edition - Backup dvision3.mdb file, in the
b. D-View 6.0 Professional Edition -
installation folder. The file can be used to restore D-View by
overwriting the current database dvision3.mdb.
Backup Dvision3.mdf and Dvision3_Log.ldf files in the
o
SQL Server 2000 installation folder. Example: C:\Program
Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Data.
Re-install SQL Server 2000 and run MakeDB.exe to
o
create D-View database.
Go to Start > Program > Adminitrative Tool >
o
Services and then select MSSQLSERVER from the
Services list.
Right-click or double click on MSSQLSERVER and select
o
Stop.
Restore Dvision3.mdf and Dvision3_Log.ldf files to the
o
SQL Server 2000 installation folder.
Restart SQL Server service.
