    Attaching the Frame When shipped from the factory, the left frame is not attached to the Silent Guitar’s main body. Before using the instrument, please properly attach the left frame using the proce- dure described below. Fully loosen [frame attachment screw 1] located in the Frame attachment screw 1 area behind the 12 fret, and [frame attachment screw 2]...

    Changing Strings As the strings get old, sound quality will gradually decrease, and it will become difficult to tune the instrument. Change the strings as soon as you think they are getting old. Make sure you purchase a set of nylon guitar strings. The Silent Guitar uses a string length of 650mm (25-9/16 inch).

    Power Supply The Silent Guitar operates either on battery power or with an AC adaptor however, it will consume more power when the reverb function is in use. For that reason, we recommend that it be powered with the supplied AC power adaptor for normal use. Always turn the PHONES ON/OFF switch OFF before making AC power connections or replacing the battery.

    Connecting External Devices ■. AUX.IN.jack • The AUX IN jack can be used to connect an external stereo signal source to the Silent Guitar. Connecting the audio output of a CD player, portable music player, etc., to the instrument allows you to play along with the external audio source.

    Using the Controls ■ . Using.the.LINE.OUT.jack. (Using.with.a.guitar.amplifier.or.powered.speaker,.etc.) Use a standard phone plug cable to connect the Silent Guitar’s LINE OUT jack to the input jack on the guitar amplifier or powered speaker, etc. When the cable’s plug is inserted into the LINE OUT jack, power will be supplied to the Silent Guitar and the power lamp will light.
