Installing Host Interfaces
Optional host interfaces can be installed while the ETERNUS DX Disk storage system is running
without affecting the system.
5.3.1
Installation Rules for Host Interfaces
This section explains the installation rules for host interfaces.
One or two host interfaces that have two host interface ports can be installed for each controller.

Install the host interfaces for CA#0 first, and then CA#1. Host interfaces that have different inter-
faces can be installed in CA#0 and CA#1.
For a dual-controller type, the configuration is the same for Controller 0 (CM#0) and Controller 1
(CM#1).

Do not uninstall or move a host interface that is already installed.
Contact your sales representative or maintenance engineer if a host
interface needs to be uninstalled or moved.

in the host interface 1 (CA#1) of the ETERNUS DX80 S2/DX90 S2.
