Adjusts the high-frequency
range (Treble) and low-frequency
range (Bass) of sounds.

Adjusting with the front panel controls
(_ Press TONE CONTROL to select "Treble" or "Bass".
(_) Press PROGRAM to make an adjustment.
Adaptive
DRC (Adaptive
DRC)
Sets whether the dynamic range (from maximum to minimum) is automatically
adjusted
when the volume level is adjusted. When it is set to "On", it is useful for listening to
playback
at a low volume at night.
Settings

Automatically
adjusts the dynamic
range.
Off (Off) (default)
The dynamic
range is not automatically
adjusted.
If "On" is selected, the dynamic range becomes narrow at a low volume and wide at a
high volume.

Adjusts the perceived
height of dialogue sounds.
If the dialogue sounds as if it is
coming from below the TV screen, you can raise its perceived
height by increasing this
setting.
• This setting is available only when one of the following conditions is met.
- One of the sound programs (except for 2ch Stereo and 7ch Stereo) is selected when presence speakers
are used.
- Virtual Presence Speaker (VPS) (p.50) is working.
