functions, You must set the clock before
any t_mer functions will work Your clock
can be set automatically by using a
broadcast signal available in most areas
Press Channel +/- to go to your
local PBS station(These stutio=3s
carry the EDS or XD$ time signal)

The Set Clock (Semi-Auto) feature cannot
be used to set the TVNCR's internal clock
to Newfoundfand time. The time zone
command does not include a setting for
the Newfoundland time zone Trying to use
the Semi-Auto feature in the
Newfoundland time zone could result in an
incorrect time setting or no se_ing at all.
Please set your TVNCR's dock using the
SeEClock - Manual feature
The XDSand EDSsignalsare cardedonly
by certain b_oadcasttelevisionstations
(farexample,the signal is carriedby most
Public BroadcastingServicestalJons)You
must be able to receive a stationcarrying
the XDSor EDSsignal to use the
Semi-Autufeatureto setyour TVNCR's
internalclock. If you live in an areathat
does not broadcast XDSor EDSsignals,
you must setthe clock manually.Please
see page 17 for instructionson how to
manuallysetyour TVNCR'sclock.
