• Got to "www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/" and click the Download Now link

Select [Internet Options...]
Select the [General] tab
Click [Settings]
Select "Every visit to the page"
Select [Tools] from the browser menu
Select [Internet Options...]
Select the [Privacy] tab
Select "Override automatic cookie handling"
Select "Accept" under both "First-party Cookies" and "Third-party
Cookies"
Select "Always allow session cookies"
Select [Tools] from the browser menu
Select [Internet Options...]
Select the [Security] tab
Set the Internet Security Level to "Medium"
Select [Tools] from the browser menu
Select [Internet Options...]
Select the [Advanced] tab
Scroll down to the "Java (Sun)" group
Check "Use Java 2 v1.4.2_05 for <applet>" (or newer version number)
Confirm that no options under the "Microsoft VM" group are checked
